Tikis and Mermaids

Not too long ago I had an itch to do some Tiki and Mermaid sketches. These three pieces are the result. Not intended for anything but my own practice and fun. I am pretty happy with how they came out.

L.A. Hootenanny

Not too long ago I had the pleasure of doing a poster for the awesome L.A. Hootenanny, a great local band that plays at a bar called Villains Tavern most Thursday nights near Downtown L.A.

Moai Madness

Not too long ago I contributed to an art show which centered around the theme of Moai. It was a ton of fun and I was excited to see all of the other talented artists that contributed to the show.

I had two pieces, Voodoo Island and a Pinstripe Moai.
I created a custom frame for the Voodoo Island piece which was then printed on canvas (Thanks Tom D. Kline for the photo).


The pinstripe Moai was printed on T-shirts.

Skeleton Mermaid

This is a design for a new T-shirt that I recently put together.

Nekromantix ablum cover

I recently had the pleasure of being able to do the album cover for the next Nekromantix release, "What Happens in Hell Stays in Hell"
I had a great time working on it. Its release on 08/02/2011, so mark your calendars!

Star Wars Battle of the Bands!

I finally got around to putting together this idea I had been throwing around. Star Wars Battle of the Bands!!! I always intended the final version to be the colored poster, but I decided to put together the second version because I really liked the way the black and white line drawings looked.
I know I'd be there rockin' out!

Darth Talon
